A Word From The Composer

From my earliest memories, music has been the centerpiece of my world. I was born into a dynasty of piano builders, where pianos were as much a part of our household as family members. Even as a toddler, I was irresistibly drawn to these instruments, eager to create my own melodies. At the age of two, my adventurous spirit led to an unforgettable incident: in my quest to explore the sounds of a piano, I inadvertently toppled one over. Thankfully, I emerged unscathed, safe for an intensified passion for musical exploration.

Over two decades have passed since that fateful day. My initial fascination with the piano evolved into a profound connection with music. From singing in the echoing tunnels of underground trains to performing in diverse concerts and pursuing formal music education, my journey has been rich and fulfilling. The transition from a music enthusiast to a professional at the conservatoire was not just a progression but a calling fulfilled.

To me, music is more than just a collection of notes and rhythms; it's a universal language that transcends words. It has the power to touch the deepest corners of the human soul and convey stories, emotions and feelings in an inimitable emotive way. This is the essence of my composition: to create music that resonate deeply and leaves a lasting impact on the audience.

My journey through the years, collaborating with exceptional musicians, theater directors, and filmmakers, has been nothing short of inspirational. I often ponder, "What if that piano had never fallen?" The answer remains elusive, but one truth endures: my deep love for music fuels my desire to create engaging and exciting works, while fostering the accessibility of contemporary music for all: composers, performers and listeners.
